Before a child can begin ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, it’s essential to first obtain a formal autism diagnosis. At Abundant Life Family Services, we offer comprehensive autism screenings and evaluations for children. Whether you’ve noticed challenges with communication, social interaction, behavior, or development, our team is here to guide you with clarity, empathy, and expertise.
We know that every child is different, and autism symptoms can look different from one child to the next. That’s why early, professional evaluation is so important. The sooner you have answers, the sooner your child can receive the support they need to thrive.
Unfortunately, many families find themselves stuck in long waitlists—sometimes months or even years—to receive a diagnosis. At Abundant Life, we’re committed to changing that. We’ve dedicated resources to reduce delays and help families move forward faster.
If you’re concerned about your child’s development, don’t wait. Reach out today. We’re ready to walk with you every step of the way.
No one knows your child like you do. Maybe you’ve noticed they’re not meeting milestones, or they struggle with speech, behavior, or connection. Maybe someone suggested an evaluation, and you’re wondering: Is this necessary?
Here’s what we want you to know: early testing can change everything.
Children’s brains are developing rapidly between ages 3 and 8. Identifying autism early allows us to implement therapies that can dramatically improve communication, behavior, and social skills.
Early intervention increases school readiness and improves relationships with peers, teachers, and family.
A diagnosis (or confirmation that a child is not on the spectrum) brings understanding, not labels. It helps you get the right supports in place—so your child has every chance to flourish.
Even if you’re unsure, getting your child evaluated is a positive, proactive step. You don’t need to figure this out alone. We’re here to walk with you.
We get it—navigating evaluations can feel intimidating. But our process is designed to be as smooth, transparent, and family-friendly as possible.
Throughout this process, you’ll never feel rushed, judged, or left in the dark. We’re here to empower—not overwhelm—you.
You’ll speak with one of our intake specialists who will ask about your concerns, your child’s history, and any previous evaluations. We’ll determine whether an autism evaluation is appropriate and help you schedule your appointment.
Your child will meet with a licensed psychologist,—either in person at our clinic or virtually (when appropriate). Using tools like the ADOS-2, our clinicians will assess communication, behavior, social interaction, and play through a series of structured and child-friendly tasks.
We aim to make the experience relaxed and natural. Evaluations typically take 60 to 90 minutes, and you’re welcome to stay nearby.
After scoring and analysis, we’ll schedule a feedback session. This is where we review the results, discuss the diagnosis (if applicable), and answer your questions in clear, everyday language.
You’ll receive a detailed written report that outlines findings, recommendations, and next steps. This can be shared with your child’s school, pediatrician, or service providers to help guide services and planning.
At Abundant Life, we’ve built our reputation on more than expertise—we’ve built it on trust, compassion, and results. Families know that when they come to us, they’ll be heard, respected, and truly cared for.
Our team includes licensed psychologists and clinicians with specialized training in early childhood development and autism spectrum disorders. We don’t take shortcuts—we use research-backed tools and our clinical expertise to give you a clear picture of what’s going on with your child.
But it’s not just about credentials—it’s about connection. Our evaluators take time to make sure your child feels safe and understood during the process.
No two children are alike. We take the time to understand your child’s unique personality, challenges, and strengths—and we tailor every step of the evaluation to fit your family’s needs.
We believe that kindness and clarity go hand-in-hand. Our communication is always open, honest, and free of clinical jargon. You’ll know what to expect, and you’ll feel supported at every turn.
When you’re concerned about your child’s development, the last thing you want is to wait months for help. That’s why we’ve worked hard to reduce wait times and streamline our process.
We offer prompt scheduling and strive to deliver full reports and feedback sessions in a timely manner—because when it comes to your child’s growth, every day counts.
We build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers. You’re not on the sidelines—we work together to set goals, track progress, and celebrate wins.
Each child’s treatment plan is custom-built by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and based on real-time data. We use positive reinforcement techniques that focus on meaningful progress, not just behavior compliance.
Therapy can take place in our Broomall clinic, your home, or your child’s school or childcare setting. We meet families where they are—literally and emotionally.
A diagnosis is just the beginning. If your child is diagnosed with autism, we provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy—a proven, evidence-based approach that helps children build essential life skills in communication, behavior, and social interaction.
