Why Early Autism Testing is So Important
No one knows your child like you do. Maybe you’ve noticed they’re not meeting milestones, or they struggle with speech, behavior, or connection. Maybe someone suggested an evaluation, and you’re wondering: Is this necessary?

Early diagnosis = earlier support
Children’s brains are developing rapidly between ages 3 and 8. Identifying autism early allows us to implement therapies that can dramatically improve communication, behavior, and social skills.

What You Can Expect
We get it—navigating evaluations can feel intimidating. But our process is designed to be as smooth, transparent, and family-friendly as possible.
Throughout this process, you’ll never feel rushed, judged, or left in the dark. We’re here to empower—not overwhelm—you.
Initial Consultation
You’ll speak with one of our intake specialists who will ask about your concerns, your child’s history, and any previous evaluations. We’ll determine whether an autism evaluation is appropriate and help you schedule your appointment.
Evaluation Appointment
Your child will meet with a licensed psychologist,—either in person at our clinic or virtually (when appropriate). Using tools like the ADOS-2, our clinicians will assess communication, behavior, social interaction, and play through a series of structured and child-friendly tasks.
We aim to make the experience relaxed and natural. Evaluations typically take 60 to 90 minutes, and you’re welcome to stay nearby.
Family Feedback Session
After scoring and analysis, we’ll schedule a feedback session. This is where we review the results, discuss the diagnosis (if applicable), and answer your questions in clear, everyday language.
Comprehensive Written Report
You’ll receive a detailed written report that outlines findings, recommendations, and next steps. This can be shared with your child’s school, pediatrician, or service providers to help guide services and planning.
